VVS 49mm Tube Weight

On particularly large VVS curtains it was noted from distributor feedback that the system would benefit from having a larger weight inserted to the bottom tube at the free end to stop the free end of the curtain rising up. In answer to this, the VVS 49mm tube weight assembly has been modified to allow multiple tube weights to be joined together.

Please refer to the assembly drawing (PDF) showing the new 49mm tube weight. The main difference between the old and new design is that the tube weight now has a plastic end insert bung put in either end to retain a dry concrete mix, instead of the hardened concrete mix used previously.

VVS 49mm Tube Weight Joiner Kit

The end insert bungs are designed in such a way that these can now be fastened together using a tube weight joiner kit supplied separately by Galebreaker Products Ltd. Please refer to separate fitting instructions (PDF).

If an installation requires an extra tube weight, the joiner kit can be used on site using a standard 6mm Hex Key.
