50mm Hooks & Ratchets

We have strengthened and improved the fittings sent with the following Products:

  • Bayscreens 10m and longer
  • Cattlescreens
  • Slidescreen

1. Standard Hook has been replaced with Heavy-Duty Cranked Hooks:

  • Larger diameter hook able to fasten onto steel up to 20mm thick.
  • Webbing bar now cranked (like the 30mm hooks) to lift the webbing away from the fixing face and avoid abrasion.

2. To fasten the Ratchet onto the building, the hook with tube has been replaced with a Compact Ratchet Hook: *

  • Reduces combined length of Ratchet to inside of Hook from 20cm to 10cm, useful if fitting onto columns less than 20cm wide.
  • Hook able to fasten onto steel up to 20mm thick.

* Note: We can revert to a Hook with Tube where the installation requires this arrangement.
3. Revision to Ratchets supplied with Bayscreens 10m and over:
The Ratchets supplied for screens between 10m and 13.7m have been upgraded. The table below gives the new situation.
