Development Work Continues on the R40 & R60 Agridoor Motors

To satisfy the industrial demand for a faster Agridoor electric motor, we are developing a 40 RPM, the R40, and ultimately a 60 RPM, the R60 motor to extend our range. Both the R40 and R60 will have various control options which we will confirm later.
To run at these speeds, and to overcome over heating problems, the R40 and R60 motors are externally mounted onto the top bracket and are not tubular motors.
Designed to Industry standards both systems will have a pneumatic bottom safety strip as standard.

Trials of the R40 are well underway, 3500 complete cycles have already been performed using our new automatic testing control box. Our intention is to complete 10,000 cycles then carry out a complete strip down before continuing the test process.
